Best Sites To Travel To In Peru
Are you planning on taking a vacation to go to Peru? This is one of the most beautiful countries in South America. You have probably seen many different specials on the destinations that you can visit, many of which are considered to be on everyone’s bucket list. These are places that are considered to be spiritual, or at the very least, extremely unique. Here are some of the best sites to travel to in Peru if you can take a few weeks off for traveling.
This is a location that is well-known throughout the world. Whether you are spiritually oriented, or if you just want to travel to a well-known destination, Machu Picchu has so much to offer. You will have to fly into Cuzco in Peru, and then take a train. The train ride is going to last up to 3 hours and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Aguas Calientes, you will take a shuttle to the top which is a 30 minute drive. If you stay in Aguas Calientes, hotels can range from $50 a night to a couple hundred dollars. If you decide to stay at the top, there is a hotel called the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge which is at a perfect location, but it is $750 a night. However, for some people, it might be well worth the ability to walk outside of your hotel to see this magnificent location.
This is located at over 12,000 feet elevation. It is the highest lake in the world that is navigable. There are many legends associated with this place, and there are also floating islands where you can spend a few days on the lake itself. It is difficult to breathe there, but the beautiful view is also breathtaking. If you can, plan to spend at least a few days here at this beautiful destination.
These are just two of the more popular locations in Peru that you can visit. There are others that are famous. That includes the Nazca lines, Ollantaytambo and Puma Punku are all locations that you will enjoy seeing. The Aztec culture provided us with many beautiful locations, and you can see them all in this wondrous area of the world. You will also meet lots of interesting people, from the natives of the area to random meetings of other cultures. We met an American at Lake Titicaca, who owns a carpet cleaning company called Arizona Carpet Cleaner in Phoenix Arizona. You never know who you will meet. We also met a couple from Canada that were there for their honeymoon.
If you have the time, go on your next vacation in the beautiful country of Peru. Be sure to travel during the spring and summer months in South America to have the best experience.
Where Should You Go When Traveling South America?
South America is full of great countries to visit, and you’re certainly aware that the summer Olympics were just held in Rio this year. Do you have a particular destination in mind? One of my friends traveled to Chile while in college and ended up staying there for years. Granted, she was traveling there to teach English, but she enjoyed the culture and lifestyle so much that she called the country of Chile home for quite some time. Thankfully, she writes for a blog (www.homebuildingtrendsmn.com) so she was able to write from the hotel to keep her job! Aside from Brazil and Chile, there is also Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela and more. If you’re not very familiar with South American countries and their cities, you might want to plan a trip to a few of them at once. Take the tour, so to speak, and you can also look at the top attractions and which ones you want to visit.
When you’re traveling South America, some of the great cities you might want to visit include Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Cusco. Just in Buenos Aires alone, you have great attractions like Puerto Madero, Recoleta and Teatro Colon. Of course, you might be looking at these attraction names and thinking there is a language barrier involved when looking up information about things to do. That’s why you will want to find out information about all the attractions you plan to visit. When you’re visiting a foreign country like South America, you might as well have an itinerary for sure. If you’re still trying to figure out what part of the continent to visit, you can skip the southern portion because that isn’t where everything is located.
If you take an opportunity like my friend did, you can travel to South America and see all of the sights without having to fork over a ton of money for vacation expenses. While she was in Chile, she visited many places in other countries. She was also in South America during different times of the year, taking part in holidays and festivals. If you think that opportunity sounds good to you, look for how you could live and work in South America or awhile to experience the culture there. Otherwise, it’s time to plan one big vacation so you can get around and see as much as you can. Hey, you can always come back and visit when you have more time.
Different Ways To Travel To South America
South America is a fascinating continent and traveling there is an experience that will really change you. If you are thinking about visiting a South American country or want to go on a tour to see several of these countries, there are a few options you should consider.
Staying at a resort is a very popular option for tourists. There are many resorts to choose from, especially in large cities and along the coastlines. Staying at a resort is an ideal option if you want to experience luxury and comfort while still being able to get out and see the country where you are staying.
You can also sign up for a tour if you would rather travel around and see as much of South America as possible. Some tours will take you through the main cities of a country, allow you to discover the Amazonian jungle or will take you through different countries.
Ask yourself what kind of experience you want for your trip to South America. If you are traveling with young children, it might be best to stay at a resort or at a hotel. If you want to see as much as possible, look for a tour that will take you to all the places you want to see.
Traveling South America With A Group
I have a friend that frequently visits South America. He works for one of the top Twin Cities home builders, and he told me about his trips there and how interesting it is to visit there. He usually goes with a group on trips there and told me he would give me the information so I could go the next time.
He gave me the information on a trip that was coming up in a few months. The information included what the group would do while they were there and how much it would cost. Since I had the extra money I told him I would go on the trip and I filled out all the paperwork and paid for it so I could go.
The trip is coming up in a few weeks and I am excited to go on it. I really can’t wait. I have never been out of the country before and this is a great opportunity to do so. I have been getting all the things I will need to go on the trip ready. I have most everything ready because I don’t want to forget something.
In a few weeks, I will visit South America and see what it’s like there.

Traveling South America: When Should You Go?
If you’re planning a trip to South America, you’ll want to travel at the right time. Certain seasons are far more expensive than others. Traveling at the right time can save you money and help you to have a more pleasant trip.
One of the best times to go to South America is in October. During this time of year, the temperatures are fairly moderate. You won’t be overwhelmed by the heat. In addition, this is a time of lower activity. There won’t be many crowds, and a lot of resorts will offer lower rates.
As an added bonus, there are a lot of festivals that take place in October. You’ll be able to see things you could only see during this time of year.
January is another great month for travel. If you’re sick of cold weather, you’ll be thrilled by the moderate temperatures. January is a more popular travel time than October, but is less busy than February and March, when many people take spring break trips.
If you’ve always wanted to see South America, you should try to travel there as soon as you can. No matter when you take your trip, you’ll enjoy seeing a fresh new part of the world.
Bienvenidos and Hola!
Hello everyone! My name is Andre, and I live in the USA. My family is originally from Peru, and I wanted to learn more about my ancestor’s country and culture. It’s about time I made plans concerning traveling to South America.
I have just been looking at booking a vacation traveling South America. Having never been before, there is a lot to choose from. Being a bit of a history buff, I would like to see the Mayan temples. Some of them can be very difficult to see, as they are in the middle of the jungle. So, I will keep my list of things to do to those which are just a short trip from a main town. Not everyone enjoys being out in hot and humid temperatures, surrounded by mosquitoes, and I am one of them.
South America is not all about jungle though. The Amazon is a massive place, but the continent has much more to offer. One country I really wish to see is Chile. I have heard much about the Atacama Desert, as well as the mountain ranges there. Argentina is another location that is rich in history, culture and beauty. The only problem is that the southern parts are very cold during the winter months. It is going to take me some time to plan my vacation to this area of the world, and I am in no rush.
I hope you enjoy my writing and that it helps anyone considering travel to this great region of the world!
